About me
Osteopath for animals
Living with animals since my childhood, I quickly discovered a passion for them. Motivated by the desire to help them with health and well being, I learnt about new animal medicines, and I joined the French School of Animal Osteopathy (EFOA) in Caen for 5 years of college education. From the 1st year of study, I was able to practice on animals with: approaching the animal, learning about testings, setting up a reflection, and finally using osteopathic manipulations to treat. Moreover, the theoretical courses, which were very condensed from the beginning of the training, allowed me to acquire complete anatomical and physiological knowledge. My plan to settle in Sweden was born out of a real crush after visiting the country and meeting people. I love everything that is set up for animals in this country, but also the Swedish way of life, and the landscapes.
My experiences
In order to refine my knowledge in several fields, I did several internships from one week to several months. In the world of racehorses (trotting and galloping), I was able to follow the learning of horses, their training, their medical follow-up, their feeding, their reproduction and the competitions. With dairy cows, I took part in the tasks to follow the daily life of a dairy cow (milking, feeding, care, maintenance...). With a shelter for dogs and cats, in order to get to know the organisation and become aware of the importance of these organisations.
